No One's Gonna Love You
Cee-lo Green covered Band of Horses' tune 'No One's Gonna Love You' and created a video that really captures the ups and downs of the two protagonists as they journey around America in their ride looking mega hot. Produced by Paul Epworth, the cover features Cee-lo's massively emotive voice and a heavier beat backdrop.
The original video to the song featured the hairy dudes of Band of Horses cruising about their daily life. Cee-lo's stylized spin on the song seems much more appropriate. Here's a look at the nostalgia-inducing video to keep you in the summertime mood while at the office!

Charlotte Gainsbourg – Time of the Assassins
What starts off so simply builds in an interesting way. Still wondering how certain elements where done – I love when that happens.

Diagram of the Heart x Village Green

With a little visual aid from the awesome east London design studio Village Green, Diagram Of The Heart are the latest summer time duo ramping up and across the interweb with their electro pop anthem Dead Famous (out 5th July). The first signings to the legendary and recently resurrected Deconstruction label (Black Box, Robert Miles, The Grid...) Kye Sones and Anthony Gorry are going to be massive. Trust. It’s that sun drenched electro that crosses over perfectly... their licensing guy must be laughing. We stood spectacle to one of their early shows at YoYo, and if you take Kanye’s lead, kids throwing up (gang) band, heart hand signs before a single has even been released... well, must be a good sign of things to come. But back to Village Green, their inventive deconstructed / reconstructed design vibe for Fabric, Beck’s Fusions, Mark Ronson and that exploding egg cover for the Yeah Yeah Yeahs are pretty stellar, so check them out alongside DOTH (Michael Woods Remix is available on Beatport now) as soon as.

Greta Cottage Workshop - Remix Project
Here's an interesting one from the Greta Cottage Workshop brigade. Out of Plato's Cave Surrounded by the Sun E.P is a kind of hypnotic dream-folk piece that has a bit of a Mark Kozelek influence running through it. An unusual and thoroughly cinematic beast in its own right, the track becomes utterly immense in the hands of Brun from Swayzak, who apparently spent six months perfecting a gargantuan twelve-minute remix. it's a mighty and immersive piece of work, leaving Sei A's comparatively concise micro-house rendition sounding a little more earthbound.
The name is born out of Plato’s allegory of the cave and symbolises the artists desire to see beyond the forms of their traditional styles and create a sound and that fuses the purest elements of both into fresh and original music.
