Grooverider in Dubai
So in case you hadn't heard Grooverider is in a spot of bother with the authorities in Dubai. Silly eejit travelled there with not only weed (maybe not much but they have super zero tolerance for drugs) but PORN!!.
Firstly, dude, don't you have the internet? Thats what its for. Why do you need to take Porn DVDs on a work trip??? And as for travelling with drugs - are you high? oh actually maybe.
Secondly why isn't any of this reported on the BBC news site - I've searched and searched but can't find anything? Surely they can't ignore the story especially seeing as he's employed by them???
Thirdly - ouch! the Dubai promoter is suing the management for loss of earnings - I think it was a 7K capacity show and everyone paid £25 - ouch.

so, he appeared in court yesterday and admitted ownership of some weed. min 4 years if he loses. harsh.

Something strange about the whole thing - I emailed the World Service about the fact that a BBC DJ has been banged up in the middle east on drungs & porn charges, and enquired way its not reported AT ALL on the BBC sites (go check) - nothing back. and I cc'ed in all the mainstream cheese Radio 1 lot. I smell a cover up, for some odd reason.

It's clearly a cover-up. It's not the only one related to porn either. There is an anorexia treatment center that's actually for sick people who can't live without porn. It's a condition that can be cured just like Nimfomania. It's a twelve step program and I heard about it when a friend of mine was recommended there by his doctor.

I really can't believe this... Pornaddicted i could understand but hardly.... but the treatment for the porn addicts have to be so fun .... i'd be glad to see a treatment for the porn addict...
What was he thinking? Somebody had to tell him that he got on the wrong airplane. Usually I know that before going in another country you learn something about that country and first of all are the rules! Or maybe he was just trying to show off. How knows.
