Nice, a couple of years back on the feed we had an item about a whole book of these kind of new materials, the book was called Transmaterial and I had a PDF of the whole thing. I'll try and dig it out...

Looks more transluscent than transparent - but great - just imagine if we could get truly transparent concrete - wow - transparent concrete floors - in the meantime - transluscent is fab.

You should be able to get all the info there on light transmitting concrete. You can even order some samples.

It's not real. The shadow, from the woman's arm, on the side of the block doesn't match up with the silhouette painted,(I presume), on the front.

I wonder how this would look with an epoxy flooring coating over it either way this is some pretty cool concrete and could have endless uses.
